Please Welcome Bridget~Fallengrund’s Bridget of Zamboni

SO…our mentor Carol loaded Athena and Reina up in the horse trailer to transport to the Vet hospital at the University of Missouri and headed west. Upon arriving at the hospital she happened to look through the window and Athena had given birth!!!

Fallengründ’s Bridget of Zamboni  had made her grand arrival at 9:30 a.m. on October 5th, 2012. She weighed 9 lbs and was on her sternum when Carol opened the trailer, and on her feet within the hour. She is white with the sweetest like fawn triangle over her entire right eye.

I am not sure how these things work, but I am UP!

Bridget is full term and according to the Vet, everything is fine. Athena hadn’t gotten her milk in so they had begun supplementing at the hospital. We are hoping to bring her home on Monday.

Michael, Allie and I are thrilled! Please keep tuned in to watch Bridget’s progress! Our herd has now grown to 4!!!!
